Toby the Shetland Collie with a mind of his own!

After contacting Phil Jackson by telephone seeking how to train a 4 month old Shetland Collie , his first reaction was to arrange a visit to our home to see the untrained dog in its own surroundings.

A number of problems we had with the dog were discussed and he had the opportunity to see these in action.

· Barking at anyone passing the front of the house – callers to the house were given a noisy welcome.

· Couldn’t let him off the lead he would run away as soon as he saw anyone within 200yds.

· He was attracted to any dog and would bark as soon as he saw one and try to release himself off the lead.

Phil’s training lessons are taken wherever you exercise your dog. He is a ‘’hands on’’ trainer. He will tell you that you have to attack the problem, but will be at your side to ensure the dog responds.

After about 8 lessons we have a well trained dog which we let off the lead – it obeys the commands and we (my wife and I) feel confident to take him amongst people with or without animals.

This is totally due to Phil in his direct manner in the training programme for your particular dog to ensure both the dog and the owners become a first class team.

Thanks
