| We already had a course of basic obedience dog training under our belts, but our lively spaniels chose to use it when they chose! In order to keep them stimulated and challenged, we contacted Phil who has seemingly endless fun ideas which at the same time reinforce the control and obedience learnt at the early stages. Our dogs enjoy retrieves (including water retrieves) and are looking forward to starting tracking, it is never repetitive. Sparkey is a challenging dog by any standards, lacking in confidence in many situations, but has blossomed under Phil’s care and encouragement. Our sessions are held outdoors in varying locations which enables the use of our gundogs natural instincts. Phil treats each dog as the individual it is and is greeted by ours as a true friend. It is difficult to say who enjoys the training more – us or our dogs and their continued progress is testament to Phil’s expertise and professionalism.
